Supporting Love Heals Means Protecting the Next Generation  of New Yorkers.

The figures are staggering. Every hour, two young Americans test positive for HIV. With your support, we can do more to stop this epidemic and allow young lives to flourish.

Love Heals provides effective, culturally appropriate programs that give young people the tools to prevent HIV infection. Since its inception in 1992, we have reached more than 580,000 young people as well as the parents/guardians, educators and community leaders who impact their lives.

Thanks to grants and contributions from donors, Love Heals has been able to sustain established programs (The Love Heals Speakers Bureau and the Ali Gertz: In Her Own Words Video and Lesson Guide) and launch new initiatives (LEAP for Girls, the LEAP for Girls Alumnae Program and iLove) to meet emerging community needs.

None of this would be possible without your generous support. Together, we are helping to empower youth in the fight against HIV.

I’m grateful to Love Heals for helping to clear up my misconceptions about AIDS and STDs. Thanks to LEAP, I can now help other young people to become more aware of HIV/AIDS and sexual health.

– LEAP for Girls alumna

This is what people with AIDS look like. We look like everybody else. HIV doesn't discriminate, and the decisions you make now can affect you a lifetime.
