NYWF Invests in Young Women and Communities

The New York Women’s Foundation (NYWF) recently renewed its support of LEAP for Girls for a fifth consecutive year with a $70,000 grant award. Over the course of this partnership, 273 young women of color have completed the program, reaching 13,000 of their peers through community action projects of their own design. NYWF’s substantial investment allows Love Heals to train the next generation of community educators and activists in those areas of New York City hardest hit by the HIV epidemic.
