LH Reaches 8,000 Youth for World AIDS Day

In the two weeks surrounding World AIDS Day, Love Heals’ HIV-positive speakers and trained health educators visited 39 schools and community-based organizations throughout the five boroughs and Long Island, sharing vital HIV information with nearly 8,000 young people. For the third year in a row, graduates of our Leadership Empowerment and Awareness Program (LEAP) for Girls marked World AIDS Day with a visit to The M.A.C Pro Store in the Flatiron District. We are deeply grateful to The M.A.C AIDS Fund for their ongoing support of Love Heals and LEAP for Girls.
